New Youth Employment Program – Smart, Skilled and Hired Service (CHESS)

A new state government initiative that is being trialed on the North Coast of NSW – Smart, Skilled and Hired is a free and voluntary program for youth aged 15- 24 years with an aim to break down barriers and support youth into sustainable  employment.

So……. Year 12, if you are going to university and can work at least  14 hours per week, this program can help you… OR if taking a gap year or you are currently unemployed, CHESS can help you secure  sustainable employment and also help improve your skills with short courses, e.g RSA, First Aid.
