This week’s highlighted presenters are Annie Hannan Smith and Osman Fauqi.

Annie is an ex-student of St Joseph’s Regional College who has been working in London and Berlin in the discipline of ‘Performance Poetry’. . Her work has been described as “fragility, astonishment, horror and sentiment all twisted in the dripping threads of memory”. She was one of two artists in residence at North London’s art and food venue Kabaret at Karamel. She is now spearheading the concept of immersive theatrical performance in Australia. Annie’s festival workshop is “Exploring ‘el duende’ in Poetry and Performance

Osman is the News and Politics Editor at Junkee Media. He also co-hosts FBi Radio’s news and current affairs show, Backchat. Before joining Junkee, Osman wrote for The Guardian, ABC, The Australian and SBS, covering politics, current affairs and culture.
Osman’s festival workshop is ‘Are We Living In A Bubble?: How Journalism And Social Commentary Can Change Minds’.

Both Annie and Osman will be presenting their 1 hour session three times across the day.
